In the small town of San Remigio, children suffer malnutrition. Their growth, health, study and social habits are affected with this problem. We need to take action and we must do it now. The parents should know the proper kinds of food their children must eat and they should become aware of their children’s health condition.

The aim of my DREAM project was to increase the awareness about the health condition of the children in my town and to share the right kinds of food they should eat so that they would grow healthy and strong.

For me to achieve my goal, I asked my fellow GCE members along with the juniors in our school for a meeting in relation with the DREAM project. We then planned to have a feeding program and a lecture concerning malnutrition in our school and in our town.

1. Together with my team, we prepared the recipes and the ingredients to be cooked.

2. We then shared about how we will tackle malnutrition.3. When the food and our topic was ready, we decided to

feed half of the student body population (juniors and seniors) in the morning.

4. In the afternoon, we then set off to the different barangays in our town, providing them with nutritious food and knowledgeable information. All in all, we were able to feed at about 300 people.

5. The DREAM project was a success and we ought to do it for the whole month of August and twice every month.

After my DREAM project, I was able to achieve my goal- to lessen the malnourished children in my town. But not only in my town but also in our school. We continued the feeding program and now, the number of malnourished children are decreasing. Our lectures also continued, we now have 50 new volunteers from our school that would help me, the GCE, and the juniors in solving malnourishment in San Remigio.
