their best in the Zone Cross Country last week.
Special congratulations to Connor, Nicola, Leticia,
Max and Michaella who placed in the top six.
To: Infants Eisteddfod participants for two 3rd places in
the Infants Verse Speaking. Well done to the staff and

Enrolment forms for 2017 are available at the school
office.
Enrolment with our school in any grade from
Kindergarten to Year 6 can be made at the school
office at any time. Please contact the school office on
63741622 if more information about our school is
required.
Kindergarten 2018
Enrolments are now being taken for Kindergarten
2018. Enrolment packs are available at Gulgong
Public school, Gulgong Pre School and Happy Days.

Playground Kapers
At our school we always do our best to” manage
frustration and anger at school”.
All students in the school are allowed access to
circus equipment at lunchtimes. This
equipment must be used sensibly, responsibly and
respectfully and returned intact to where it came from.
There is currently no borrowing of equipment as there
is still equipment unreturned.
After school circus training is on Mondays 3.30-
5.00pm. Permission notes will be required which can
be obtained from the Office at any time.

Henry Lawson Heritage Festival June long
weekend 10th -12th * this year there are
activities all week long until the 17th which is
Henry’s 150th birthday.
Street Feast in Rylstone Saturday October 7th
(note has been sent out)
All students in the school are allowed
access to the Paparazzi Club cameras if
they ask. They must be used responsibly
and with care and returned at the end of each break.
Students must take a “selfie” to start and another to
finish their run of photos.
Ten Dollar Circus and Paparazzi kids are requested to
help at the Gulgong Markets on the last Saturday of
each month at Coronation Park from 8.30 to 12.30.
Cudgegong Camera Club conducts the Sandy Smith
Memorial Photographic Competition in conjunction
with the Henry Lawson Heritage Festival. This year’s
entry form is out now.
For further information or help with entries contact Mr
Walker at school or pick up an entry form if you want
to enter separately from school.
Coming Up:
Cudgegong Camera Club Henry Lawson
competition –closes June 5th
P&C News P&C meets on the first Wednesday each month at the
new time of 5.00pm in the Staffroom. The next
meeting is MAY 31st 2017 * one week earlier to
work out Henry Lawson Festival.
Help will be needed at the Henry Lawson
Heritage Festival on Saturday 8.00am -3.00pm.
More details to come.
The minutes of each P&C Meeting are posted on the
school’s website.

Canteen
The Canteen operates on a volunteer basis under
Managers Maree Papworth & Julie Power. More
volunteers are always sought. If you can spare any time
to help in the canteen just contact Maree or Julie on
6374 1060. You can also just walk in and make
yourself known at any time.
Softball News
Gulgong Phantoms
will be playing in Mudgee Softball
Association in Term 4. Players need to be
Year 3 or at least strong and capable Year 2 or older.
Interested players or helpers should contact Mr Walker
at school for more information.
