O V E R V I E W

The Indie Beauty Expo returned to Los Angeles January 17 — 19. This year’s event was held at the Cali fornia Market Center and showcased over 100 indie beauty brands from around the globe.

IBE LA began with the launch of CONNECT INDIE, a full day dedicated to learning, knowledge-sharing and networking among exhibitors, brand founders, and industry experts. An hour-long interview and Q&A with industry legend, Bobbi Brown, capped off this amazing day.

Day 2 kicked off with a two-hour VIP press and media event, during which we also announced IBE’s 2016 Best In Show winners. Then followed SHOP INDIE, where hundreds of indie lovers got to try and buy from some of the best beauty brands on the market.

Day 3, known as TRADE INDIE, was focused on trade professionals where buyers came to find the next hot brands to add to their retail collection.

Both show days were filled with activations from Thistle and Seed flower crowns, DJ Colette spinning tunes, a brow and lip bar by The Brow gal, hair touch-ups by Arrojo and as well as other amazing demos and panel presentations.
