m. POLICYThis MOU sets forth the scope of the immigration officer functions that DRS isauthorizing the participating LASD personnel to perform. It sets forth with specificity thedurationof he authority conveyed and the specific lines ofauthority, including the requirement

REQUJRED REVffiW OF ACTIVITIESThe ICE Assistant Secretary and the Los Angeles County ShePff shall establish asteering committee that will meet periodically to review and assess the immigration enforcementactivities that have been conducted pursuant to this MOU. These reviewsare intended to assess the use made of ~ g r a t i o n enforcement authority and to ensurecompliance with the terms of his MOU.
