CITY OF LOS FRESNOS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the City of Los Fresnos, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit:
Area A-2: 127.43 acres located west of city limits of Los Fresnos and measuring approximately 0.7324 miles on the south side of West Hwy 100 from Tapia’s Restaurant west to existing city limits of Brownsville and on the north side of West Hwy 100 west to the drainage ditch.
The first public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Los Fresnos, Texas on the 14th day of June, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Los Fresnos City Hall located at 200 N. Brazil Street, Los Fresnos, Texas for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.

CITY OF LOS FRESNOS PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING CHANGE
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments from the public on the rezoning of 70.23 acres from R-1Single Family District to C-2 Highway Commercial District and 57.20 acres will be zoned as R-1 Single Family District. The public hearing will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall, 200 N. Brazil Street, Los Fresnos, Texas. The City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments from the public on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall.

What You NeedBEAU MONDE SEASONING1 tsp ground cloves1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp ground allspice1 tsp ground nutmeg1 tsp ground black pepper1 tsp ground white pepper1 tsp ground bay leaves1 tsp salt1 1/2 tsp celery seed
STEAK MARINADE1 c soy sauce2 large onions, coarsely chopped2 clove garlic, halved1/4 c bottled gravy coloring2 tsp Beau Monde seasoning Steak (your choice)
Bold Tastin’ Grilled Steak
Directions• Mix together spices for Beau Monde
seasoning and place in a small jar or zipper bag.
• Combine soy sauce, onion, and garlic in an electric blender.
• Cover and process at high speed for about 1 min or until mixture is very smooth. Stir in gravy coloring and 2 tsp Beau Monde seasoning.
• Arrange meat in a shallow baking dish or gallon-size zipper bag.
• For each piece of meat, pour 1/2 c marinade over top.
• Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 hrs or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hrs. Then bring meat back to room temp before cooking.
• On your favorite grill, slightly oil grates, then place meat on the grill and cook to your desired preference.
