the proven range of Lovibond® tablet reagents, liquid reagents, tube tests and powder reagents(VARIO Powder Packs). Users can also storetheir own methods. The PC MultiDirect is a filter photometer usinginterference filters at 6 different wavelengths. The unique design of the optics allow the auto-matic selection of the required wavelengthwithout any moving parts. This and the dualbeam technology utilizing an internal referencechannel guaranties highest accuracy. For portable use, the instrument operates withseven standard rechargeable batteries (sup-plied). These batteries are available all over theworld and are easily changed. The integrated intelligent charge controller allows simulta-neous operation of the unit and battery char-ging (using the supplied power pack). The PCMultiDirect also operates without a power packby using alkaline manganese batteries. The entire instrument, including sample chamber (the most critical component of any photometer) and battery compartment, is waterproof, ensuring that no water can comeinto contact with the electronic components.

Description of unitThe PC MultiDirect is a contemporary, micro-processor-controlled photometer with ergono-mically designed keypad and large-format graphic display. It is equipped with a wide range of pre-programmed methods based on

Dual Beam Technology andInterference Filtersfor best accuracy

N.I.S.T TraceabilityThe instrument has a factory calibration, whichis related to internal standards which are notN.I.S.T traceable. The instrument may be cali-brated by the user in a "user calibration mode" with N.I.S.T traceable standards. New methodsTest methods are continuously updated to suitmarket requirements. You may find completesoftware updates for new methods and additional languages on our website atwww.tintometer.de.
