A. Championship MeetingThe meeting for coaches, GLIAC staff and Northwood University Championship Staff will be held on: Friday, October 19 at 6 p.m.

@ Clubhouse at Maple Leaf Golf Course

*we will provide shuttles for coaches going back to MIDLAND hotels upon conclusion of coaches meeting should you decide to send your team and assistants to hotel/dinner.

D. Entry FeePer school fee is $400.00 ($200, Men’s team and $200, Women’s team). There will also be a $10 entry fee per individual for the Open Race. Open race participants on the official rosters are eligible to compete in the varsity race, and are included in team entry fee.

Checks should be made payable to: Northwood University Cross Country

E. Entry procedure/timing systemAll entries will be submitted through www.directathletics.com .  

Coaches will enter all their athletes in the 6K and 8K races. Coaches do not need to declare which 7 will be running the varsity races when entering their teams. They can declare them at the coaches meeting.

  Entries can be made beginning on Monday, October 8th.

Deadline to enter runners is Saturday, October 13th.Michiana Timing will provide each team with bib numbers, hip numbers, and pins. Michiana Timingwill assign the numbers to each athlete.

Results will be posted on the Northwood University Athletics and GLIAC websites at the conclusion of the Championship Races. Hard copies will be posted at the course and also provided to Head Coaches during the Awards Ceremony.

Q. Inclement WeatherThe final decision on halting the race due to inclement weather or total postponement will be made by the Conference Championship Committee and the host institution. In the case of inclement weather, Conference Championship Committee and the host institution will determine the appropriate course of action for continuing, delaying or canceling the event.
