01 project 1AUnderstanding elementsand principles of designThis project is to learn the basic elements and principles of design through photography and simple geometric manipulation drawings.
Design Elements:Line, Shape, Form, Texture and Color.Design Principles:Unity, Variety, Hierarchy, Dynamic, Rhythm, Repe-tition, Symmetrical, Asymmetrical, Emphasis and Harmony.
I also included photo composition such as Rules of Thirds, Golden Ratio and Gridded arrangement for photography part. Other than that, from design element, I use the manmade Shape that I choose to explore and manipulate the geometric shape to cre-ate motives into pattern and explore colors.
To show Asymmetrical Balance. The left and right side of garden design are both different. Photo taken at Farenhet Rooftop Garden.
To show Color. The analogous color such as Blue, Purple and Pink are known as color that is next to each other. Hence, it produce a harmonious and eye pleasing effect.
To show Harmony design prinsiple. Photo taken at the opposite of Masjid Kamel LRT station.
The repetition and arrangement of rectangle windows show continuity and pleasing visual harmony feel.
The Golden Ratiohas the propotion that creates a sense of harmony and balance. This ration is able to apply everywhere and it does have a very attracting or eye-pleasing result.
The Rule of Thirds are divided into equally
nine sections in the images. Important
compositional elements and leading lines are placed
on or near the imaginary lines and where the lines
intersect.
As a team of 4, we designed 4 pieces of t-shirts to reflect Flamboyant and Extravagant. We created our own brand, Grandiose which is inspired by peacock and choose Netting Fabric, Safety Pins and Jute Strings to make the t-shirt.
ConceptTheater Costumes design. Mostly inspired by 18th century clothing, which display extravagance & flamboyance through excessive use of materials that create volume.

MERLOT Champagne Sparklingviognier
The circle folding techniques todesign Viognier and Merlot to produce a puffy flamboyant look when people wear it.
All of the nets are hand sew one by one with cotton strings which take most of the time on it.

03 project 2ACUBEMANIPULATION:fragmentationAs a team of 4, the main task for this project is to applied the basic design elements, design principles and cube manipulation then carry out design process, investigation, observation and interpretation.
For weekly progress, we designed 12 cubes by using different methods to manipulate a cube such as Subtraction, Addition and Transformation. At the end of the project, we made a final cube by using all above method and related to our given keyword:Fragmentation.

04 project 2BMASTER roshiToy display setThis project is to let us creativelydemonstrate the basic skills of architectural drawings, rendering, graphics withdiagrammatic explanations and sketches.
However, the main task of it is to create a toy display box to place the Lego Character by appling all the design elements andprinciples, cube manipulation that we have learnt.
The main concept and idea I tookto make this display set is from the characteristic of Master Roshi: Perverted. I found it unique because he is the only guy who has aperverted characteristic in the whole Dragon Ball series.

Mock up model for weekly progress to show a con-trast of material and effect when it allows light to pass through.
For my final model, there is a few function and features of the model to be interactive which is:- able to expand and contract- able to play around with color circles plastic sheets
The curvy line and form of the model is to show the physically perverted. Well, the expand feature is to show his boner. And, the color plastic sheets is to show his perverted imaginary.
05 Design process journalThis journal main objectives to demonstrate design process,investigation, observation andinterpretation of my lego character and come out with the final project concept.We did posters, artworks and mock up model to show the process of the final outcomes.
