The fox and the grapes It’s a hot day. A thirsty fox sees some grapes on the vine in a

garden. He says to himself: ‘ What a lucky( 幸运的 ) day! I am thirsty now. What nice grapes! I want them. ’

Then, he walks quickly （快速地） into the garden and jumps up at the grapes. The grapes are on a tall vine. He tries again and again, but every time （每一次） he can’t get them.
