MacPherson has just leftCity Homicide after twoyears in the popular drama.

He says he felt it was time tomove on and pursue anew challenge.

He hopes to conquer Hollywood— possibly workingin action films or comedy— and has recently returnedfrom a trip to LAwhere hemet casting agents andauditioned for roles in films such as TheGreen Lanternand the newMadMax.

MacPherson remains keen to divide his time betweenLA andMelbourne and he hopes to continue hostingDancingWith the Stars for at least onemore season.
