INTRODUCTION

A magnetic survey was carried out for Dome Exploration

(Canada) Limited on Project 191 in June, 1982.

g Tlie property is located east and west of Sunday Creek,

immediately northwest of Sunday Lake, 92 miles northeast of

~ Cochrane, Ontario from where access was made by aircraft.

l The purpose of this survey was to identify magnetic

environments conducive for gold mineralization. Numerous magnetic

l structures of relatively low magnetic relief were outlined.

l The accompanying maps show the area surveyed and the

results obtained.

A technical data sheet is appended to this report.

RESULTS

Map A

Numerous, isolated small anomalies, up to kOQ gammas

above background, were located in this area. The magnetic pattern

is rather random.

Map B

A discrete band of magnetic material, about 250 feet

wide, appears to strike under the south end of the lake from 16+50N

between 336E and 3^0E to UN between 368E and 372E on Map E.

Map C

There is relatively little magnetic relief in this area.

Map D

The magnetic pattern is rather random in this area.

A small, sharp anomaly, 800 gammas above background, was located

on Line 268E at 2^+505.

Maps E and F

The magnetic pattern suggests a different rock-type

underlying this area compared with the area to the north. There

appears to be a geological contact, or fold axis, marked by a

l l lm series of magnetic "lows", extending from Line 300E, 2N (Map E)

to Line 40^E, 25S (Map F) e Numerous magnetic "highs", up to

l 1^00 gammas above background, were located which are part of a

series of east-southeast striking structures.

j Maps G and II

There is little magnetic relief in these areas except

l for the northwest corner of Map H where there is an anomaly

extending down from Map F,

l These results should be used in conjunction with

detailed geological mapping and the knowledge of the known geology

' to determine the areas favorable for further exploration.

An examination of your survey report indicates that the requirements of The Ontario Mining Act have not been fully met to warrant maximum assessment work credits. This notice is merely a warning that you will not be allowed the number of assessment work days credits that you expected and also that in approximately 15 days from the above date, the mining recorder will be authorized to change the entries on his record sheets to agree with the enclosed statement. Please note that until such time as the recorder actually changes the entry on the record sheet, the status of the claim remains unchanged.

If you are of the opinion that these changes by the mining recorder will jeopardize your claims, you may during the next fifteen days apply to the Mining and Lands Commissioner for an extension of time. Abstracts should be sent with your application.

If the reduced rate of credits does not jeopardize the status of the claims then you need not seek relief from the Mining and Lands Commissioner and this Notice of Intent may be disregarded.

If your survey was submitted and assessed under the "Special Provision-Performance and Coverage" method and you are of the opinion that a re-appraisal under the "Man-days" method would result in the approval of a greater number of days credit per claim, you may, within the said fifteen day period, submit assessment work breakdowns listing the employees names, addresses and the dates and hours they worked. The new work breakdowns should be submitted direct to the Lands Management Branch, Toronto. The report will be re-assessed and a new statement of credits based on actual days worked will be issued.
