MAGAZINE REVIEWS

Page 3: Magazine And Poster

I like the idea that the title is at the top of the page, so the audience know what the film is called as soon as looking at the article.

The main texts is in columns this gives the article a more professional look – there is also a lot off chance for text which gives the audience more of a chance to learn more about the film.

I like the way the image is merged into the text, however I think the image is to small, and there is to much text to imagery.

I like the idea that there will be smaller less prominent articles on the page, this will engage the reader. And is a typical convention of magazine articles as shown in our research. However I believe the layout is not entirely successful as there is clear divide between the main article and the two smaller article. This could confuse my audience.

However there is no title which could make audiences confused and less likely to watch the film, as there not sure of the title.

The review is separated by a sector divider which makes the layout less complicated and more easy to read. And will appeal to the audience much more as there is another two magazine reviews.

Page 8: Magazine And Poster

I like the title being in the middle of the page as it’s eye-catching and splits the poster in two – like the two different contrasting lives the characters lead

I like the idea of including this. It is also a typical convention of poster views, as found by our research.

I like the idea that the main image is the focus of this poster. In most posters we researched big images were the common convention.
