Day 1: Nairobi to Mara

Arrive at 10.05 AM at JKIA airport and drive to our dream destination Masai mara. After immigration, you can purchase your local ‘Safaricom’ sim cards at the Airport.The drive to Masai Mara takes about 5 hours and one can enjoy the landscape of Kenya.The first stop would be at the Rift Valley. A rift valley is a linear-shaped lowland between several highlands or mountain ranges created by the action of a geologic rift or fault. One can get down and enjoy the vast beauty of this place and take some outstanding landscape pictures.Enroute you would stop over at a town called Narok for buying refreshments if some one is keen.You would reach the camp by evening (A little game drive is possible if you reach the forest gate early). After reaching camp, you would head directly for dinner and a much needed rest.

Day 2: At Mara

Wake up early with the sound of the chirping birds. Freshen up and head to the common area for some steaming hot tea. Breakfast would be served early. Have a sumptuous one and proceed to your designated vans with your equipment for your first dream drive in Masai Mara.The greater Maasai Mara – is a continuous landscape approximately the size of 6,000km2 that forms the northernmost part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. It is generally defined by the area used by the annual wildebeest migration and includes the Maasai Mara National Reserve.The first look at Masai Mara is breathtaking and one is shocked to see so many animals at one go. You would witness what you had witnessed on TV for real!! The only advice is to give time for yourself, compose and take your shots instead of rushing. You would have the entire time in the world to do so.Lunch is packed and the experienced drivers would stop at a place to serve it. After lunch the drive continues till sunset. Return to the camp with blusing faces and puffed up chest. You are now at the Great Masai Mara. Relax by the camp fire, order a drink at your cost, relax before heading to dinner and rest. Remember, you have to get up early and the camps would close dinner by 9PM sharp.



Day 3 : At Mara

Now that you have got used to get up early, finish your breakfast and head to the van. Sunrise and Sunsets are the best times to be at MaraThe light is magical and you would get to make pictures not just for FB but for your dream prints

The predators have a field day during the afternoons. It is a common sight to see the Hyenas scavenge on the kills of the Lions.The vultures give them a hard time to eat their fill.

After having the packed lunch, explore the plains of Mara take pics of the grazing zebras and the millions of wildebeests. The Thompsons Gazelles are also active during mid day as the predators sleep. After a long day, return to the resort to review your pics. Have a early dinner and rest for the night as tomorrowyou would be proceeding to the river to witness the crossing.



Day 4 : At Mara

Today you would be proceeding to some main river crossing points. The Lions generally are very active in the mornings and they too gather near the river to hunt.

Today is a wait and watch game. One needs to wait as the wildebeest are very skeptical to cross the river. Don’t loose hope. You canshoot the hippos, crocs and the vultures when waiting at the river. Do not step down at the river side unless advised by the drivers.

Lunch can be had in the van with some chilled beverages (to be ordered separately)

Being the last full day safari, try to take time and try and capture some natural history moments.Anyone opting to go to a Masai Village can do so. This would be at an additional cost and should be informed prior to travel.

Return to the camp with life time memories, have dinner and retire for the day. www.travelunbounded.com


Day 5 : At Mara

Being the last day, suggest you pack all your belongings expect your equipments and then proceed for a drive in the morning. Return to the camp by 9.30AM and proceed to Nairobi.

Lunch would be packed and can be had enroute.

On the way, if time permits, you can stop overby a Qurio shop and purchase traditional itemsmade by the Masai tribes. Reach the JKIA airport three hours before departure time

The vehicles are fixed with wireless and the driverskeep communicating to the other vehicles to findout about the sightings and crossings. It is better not to disturb them while they do this. This would ensurebetter sightings of wildlife.

Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel

Valid Yellow fever vaccination and Oral polio original certificates to be carried

USD bills carried should be printed after 2009

Travel Insurance to be applied before travel

VISA original copy to be carried along with the tickets

Advance payment of USD 200 to be paid on or before December 20th 2016

Balance payment USD 844 to be made on or before Feb 28th 2017

All medical ailments should be informed prior to travel

No refund would be given after the booking is done

Any guests wanting to extend their stay should inform prior to travel and the cost would be additional

Please do not carry any banned drugs, both the Africans and animals do not like them

It really gets dark and only the predators can see, so don’t step out at night time

On time means more action, so stick to the timings

Usually the Mambas are in the bush, so let the driver get down fist and instruct you

USD 10 would be charged additional for filling each bean bags after arrival

The people of Mara are very nice, so lets also be nice with them

Beyond Roads Travel and Photography Pvt Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage to the guests on, before , during and after the tour. Any damages caused by the guests would have to be borne by them
