INTRODUCTION1.It was invented at the Trader Vic’s restaurant in
Oakland,California in 1944. 2. “Mai Tai” is the Tahitian word for “good”.
3. The Mai Tai became such a popular cocktail in the 1950s and ‘60s that many restaurents,particularly tiki-themed
restaurants or bars,served them.

INGREDIENTS
•40 ml bacardi white rum •20 ml havana dark rum•15 ml orange curacao•15 ml orgeat syrup•10 ml fresh lime juice
HOW TO PREPARE THE MAI TAI
All the ingredients except the dark rum will take in mixing glass with ice and shake for 15 seconds then strain into highball glass and float the havana dark rum onto the top. Garnish with pineapple chunk with
lime peel and serve with straw.
