Food Truck Fridays June through September You don’t have to be a foodie to appreciate this! Bring your friends and family for some good eats as the best local food trucks set up on Main Street in Hurricane every Friday, 11am-2pm.
Hurricane Fire Department Carnival June 9-13 There is a week’s worth of fun when the carnival comes to town and sets up at Hurricane High School. This is sponsored by the Hurricane Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD).
Independence Day Celebration-July 4 Celebrate July 4th starting with a parade at 4pm on Main Street! Afterward, the City Park will be home to music, family fun, giveaways and more from 5-10pm; fireworks top off the night at 10pm.
Citywide Yard Sale August 8 Browse through Hurricane to find the best bargains and deals at various yard sales.
Hurricane Harvest Festival-September 26 Vendors, crafts, chili cook-off, games, prizes, food, live entertainment and more fall fun takes place from 1-6pm at Hurricane City Park.
Pumpkin Carving Contest-October 25 Community members carve their best jack-o-lantern! There are free pumpkins and carving kits while sup-plies last. Prizes awarded to winners in each age group. Join us at Hurricane City Park from 3pm-5pm.
Main Street Trick-or-Treat October 31 On Trick-or-Treat night from 6-8pm, Main Street businesses and local organizations will hand out candy. The street will be closed for a free family-friendly experience.
Letters to Santa November 30-December 13 The Main Street Gazebo will be home to a special red mailbox where kids can have their letters specially delivered to the North Pole. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for Santa’s reply.
Christmas Parade December 12 Enjoy the always festive Christmas parade on Main Street starting at 4pm. Afterward, visit with Santa at the Gazebo.
Hayrides with Santa December 14, 15 & 16 Catch a hayride with Santa hosted by the HVFD. Locations start with Monday’s ride at Hurricane Town Elementary, Tuesday at Conner Street Elementary and Wednesday on Main Street, 6-8pm.
