a message from the President We like to think that Downtown is more than just a place, it is truly a destination. With an ever growing list of things to do and places to go, Downtown Norfolk offers the only authentic urban experience in the region. We have an emerging arts and design district, many innovative independent restaurant options and an arts and culture scene that all combine to create a unique and special community to live, work and play.

The Downtown Norfolk Council (DNC) is comprised of over 300 businesses and individual members you will find listed in this guide. With over 20,000 copies distributed Downtown and beyond, a guide listing is a benefit to our members and just one of the ways that the DNC promotes our membership to both visitors and the entire community.

This guide is a great resource to plan your Downtown experience so you can get the most out of your visit. Thank you for choosing Downtown. We are glad you are here.

Sincerely,

Mary B. Miller, President and CEO, Downtown Norfolk Council
