WHAT WE HAVE DONE

In science Mrs. Noble has taught us about the scientific changes that can happen or the molecules in the gasses, solids or liquids. Recently we have made our own liquid/solid type material. We have experimented how evaporation can separate a solution or what happens if you melt or freeze a liquid/solid/gas.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT

GlassIn the past week we researched how glass is made and how it was first discovered. The first pieces of glass were found on beaches when lightning struck or if a nearby volcano erupted both give of high temperatures enough to melt sand into molten glass.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT CONT.

•Plastic• Plastic was made by made Leo Baekeland in New York City,

1907 and nowadays made by feeding a plastic pellet, made from a hopper, into a extractor.

MOLECULES

• Liquids and other substances are made of something called molecules. In solids the molecules are packed and still so solids stay in there form. • In liquids the molecules are more spread out allowing the

liquid to move but still take shape.• For gasses the molecules are spread out further than the

liquid’s and grow further out until they fill the container.

CONCLUSION

• Altogether I think science is great and most people should. So this term and this topic, I would give 10/10 and I can’t wait for our spring topic.

•The End• Bye!!!!!!
