It enables a highly detailed, account-specific alert to be sent to the customer using direct integration with TSYS CardGuardSM. Account holders can respond with an immediate confirmation of recent purchases or speak directly with a risk management representative. Issuers can utilize a registration enrollment user interface through TSYS Credit CareSM.

TSYS AlertsSM offers a comprehensive variety of solutions that provide

extra protection for cardholders while effectively engaging them to become

active participants in preventing fraud. In addition to providing real-time

transaction alerts, TSYS Alerts also offers other timely alerts to keep

Effective October 14, 2016, Visa® will require all U.S. issuers to provide consumer cardholders with an option to enroll in transaction alerts for their credit, debit or prepaid card. To expand adoption of transactions alerts, this mandate will be applicable to all Visa-branded card authorizations. TSYS Alerts for Tokenization: Provides cardholders with automated real-time, account-specific notifications used through channels such as SMS text messaging. It includes functionality that generates alerts to cardholders when account events occur involving tokenization. Notifications are sent when a code is assigned for mobile wallet enrollment, a token activation is completed, or when a token is deleted.

TSYS Card RuleSM: A mobile platform that gives consumers the ability to control payment cards from their smartphones. This solution allows financial institutions to easily provide cardholders with a single mobile application to remotely manage, conveniently monitor and proactively control all aspects of their payment cards that include mobile alerts. This optionprovides real-time access to account activity information, such as declined transactions or transaction locations.

• This mandate is not applicable to non-reloadable prepaid cards or commercial cards.

• Issuers may provide their own alerts service or offer one from a third-party processor, a mobile app developer or Visa.

• Visa does offer options for alerts, however the free version includes minimal basic functionality providing only transaction notification and multi-channel communication limited to SMS and email.
