Regular assessment of faculty performance and institutional governance is based on feedback from the students. Apart from written feedback,
students are allowed to meet institute head and management regarding their queries related to college oriented issues like faculty, infrastructural and
other if any. The institute head interact directly with students give surprise visits and see to every aspect of a sound academic growth.

15. Infrastructure information
Within a span of three years Abha Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering is proud to provide every facility
required for ensuring a healthy educational environment. We have ultra-modern laboratories with wi-fi
connection throughout the campus, ventilated classrooms, each having audio-visual aids. Seminar hall with well-
equipped infrastructure. Gymnasium for students and staff. A healthy and hygienic cafeteria catering to students,
staff and guests. For intellectual food, the college houses a spacious library accommodating more than 12000
books under various technical and non-technical heads. Apart from personal cabins provided to most teaching
staff, regular meetings are conducted at specially designed conference hall. Electricity backup is taken care of by
generators efficient to undertake supply load.

17. Academic sessions
The college is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University Nagpur and the academic schedule prepared by the university is strictly followed in the college. The
college prepares the academic calendar semester wise as per the guidelines of the university. Examination system and declaration of result is carried out by the
affiliating university. All the tests are conducted under the observation of college EXAM-OIC (Office in-charge). The tests are conduct in a discipline
manner.
Examination system, Semester pattern
Every student will be eligible to appear in the Unit Test, Mid Term and End Term, if the student had 75% of attendance throughout
the specific period. In any condition if the student is having poor attendance, he/she will be treated as DC (Discontinue) and he/she is not
eligible for further academics.
Period of declaration of results
Results are declared within one week of completion of exam. Result is displayed on the respective departmental notice boards for the
convenience of students.
18. Counseling / Mentoring
The initial steps at an academic arena call for proper guiding and encouragement. A student in his/her educational life is in constant need of
proper mentoring. We at Abha Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering have devoted team of teachers to meet such requirements and students’
proper growth. The teacher mentor & guide students through teacher guardian scheme.
Career Counseling
Understanding students’ inclination towards choosing a career/ branch and availing assistance according to his/her aptitude level is the aim
of having career counseling sessions. The college has a well-networked Training and Placement Cell to guide students for further selection of
jobs/entrepreneurship by identifying industries. Faculty is well versed in training for GRE/ GMAT/ TOEFL and other competitive exams, for
students willing to take up further studies.

i) Cultural activity
Uttkarssh, the annual social gathering is celebrated with much enthusiasm, interest and a joyous atmosphere. A break in academic routine,
the students welcome every moment of the festival days. Midst competitions for dance, drama, quiz, personality contests, it opens an avenue of
opportunities for knowing hidden talents.
ii) Sports activity
Healthy mind resides in a healthy body. During annual cultural week sport events wake the sportsmanship spirit of students. The college has
a separate Physical Education department for enhancing interest towards building a healthy body and mind. An exclusive playground hosts
facilities for various games within the college premises.
iii) Literary activity
Serving mankind is the best way of utilizing knowledge gathered. Under National Service Scheme (NSS), the colleges conducts various
activities every academic year. Blood Donation camps, free health check-up for student, staff and people residing in the area, and other society
development activities are a regular practice under the scheme.
iv) Magazine / Newsletter
Every department has its own forum and prepares respective departmental newsletter with contribution from students and staff. Technical
articles, general articles, columns for open-house discussions etc are major highlights. Online bulletins are in process of getting uploaded as an
additional aid to academic information. The college prepares, encourage and assist students for projects and data collection related to
technological advancement. In addition different intra as well as intercollegiate activities are organized under the aegis of forum.
v) Technical activities :Techfest
Technical activities are a regular feature within the academic curriculum. The college has hosted a successful International Conference on
innovation and Research in Engineering, Science & Technology. TECHFEST ‘National Level Project competition for Diploma Students’, are to
name a few. Guidance cell, guest lectures, workshops, paper presentation sessions are a regular part of the syllabus.

Study tours are conducted for every semester and reports are valued for internal assessment mark of students. Industrial visits prove
beneficial for understanding the work culture and the college takes special care to utilize every opportunity that comes our way.
