Disconnect the machine from the power supply by removing the plug fromthe main socket!

- Loosen screw "A" as illustrated.(1)

- Remove the cover "B".

- Unscrew the bulb and fit new one "C".(2)

- Replace the cover and tighten screw.

Should there be any problem . Ask your local dealer for advice.

O Adjuste presser foot pressure/ Ajuste de la presion del pie prensatla

The presser foot pressure of the machine has ben pre-set and requires no particularreadjustment according lo the type of fabric (light-or-heavy weight).However, if you need to adjust the presser foot pressure, tum the presser adjusting screw with acoln.For sewing very thin fabric, loosen the pressure by tuming the screw counter clockwise, and forheavy fabric, tighten by turning it clockwise.

La presión del pie prensatela de la máquina ha sido preseleccionada y no requiere especialesajustes de acuerdo con el tipo de tejido (liviano o pesado).Sin embargo, si se necesita ajustar la presión del pie presatela gire el tomillo de ajuste depresión con una moneda. Raise the presser foot clamp "a". (1) Attach the presser footholder "b" as illustrated.Attaching the presser footLower the presser foot holder "a" until the cut-out "c" is directlyaboye the pin "d". (2)Raise the lever "e"Lower the presser foot holder "a" and the presser foot " f " willengage automatically.Removing the presser footRaise the presser foot. q Winding the bobbin / Embobinado del hilo inferior

Place empty bobbin on spindle.

Take the thread from the spool through the guide to thebobbin. (1/2)

Wind the thread a few times by hand around the emptybobbin in a clockwise direction. Push the bobbin to the righttowards the bobbin winding position. (3) Press the footcontrol gently. The bobbin will stop winding when it is full.Push the bobbin to the left to "sewing position" and remove it.Please Note : When the bobbin winder spindle is in "bobbinwinding" position, the machine will not sew-the hand wheelwill not turn. To start sewing, push the bobbin winder spindleto the left (sewing position).

q Inserting the bobbin/ Colocación de la canilla

When inserting or removing the bobbin, the needle must be fully raised.

Open the hinged cover. (1)Hold the bobbin case with one hand. Insert the bobbin so that thethread runs in a clockwise direction (arrow). (2)Put the thread under the tension spring. (3)

Hold the bobbin case by the hinged latch. (4)

Insert it into the shuttle. (5)

Attention:Turn power switch lo off ("O").

La aguja tiene que estar siempre arriba del todo al poner y sacar lacanilla.

Abrir la tapa con charnela. (1)Sujetar el porta -canilla con una mano . Poner la canilla de manera queel hilo se devane en el sentido de las agujas del reloj (flecha). (2)Pasar el hilo por la ranura y por debajo del muelle. (3)Introducir el porta -canilla en el carril de la lanzadera sujetando lacharnela con el pulgar y el indice. (4/5)

q Inserting the needle (System 1301705H ) / Colocación de la aguja (Sistema 130/705H)

Change the needie regularly, especially if it is showing signs of wearand causing problems.

Insert the needle following the illustrated instructions.

A Loosen the needie clamp screw and tighten again alter inserting thenew needle. (1)

B The fíat side of the shaft should be towards the back.C/D Insert the needle as far up as it will go.

Attention:Turn power switch to off ("O").

Needies must be in perfect condition. (2)

Problems can occur with:A bent needlesB blunt neediesC damaged points

Cambiar la aguja con frecuencia, sobre todo cuando aparezcan lasprimeras dificultades en el cosido.

Montar la aguja según la ilustración:

A Aflojar el tornillo del porta-agujas y después de haber colocado laaguja, apretarlo de nuevo. (1)

Problemas en el cosido se manifestan si:

q Threading the upper thread / Enhebrado del hilo superior

Attention:Turn power switch to off ("O"). Raise the needle bar.

Follow completely the numbered sequence in upper threading. Should youskip or fail to properly engage the thread with any of the thread guides, you willnot sew properly. (1-5)

Continue to draw the thread down and finto the needle bar thread guide. Passthe thread through the eye of the needle from front to back. Leave loose about10 cm (4") of thread. (6)

Atención:El interruptor principal tiene que estar a ("O"). Subir la prensatela.

Enhebre la aguja por las siguientes posiciones: Guiahilos de tapa superior,regulador de tensión, muelle de tirahilos, palanca tirahilos, guiahilo del brazo,guiahilo de la barra de aguja. (1-5)

Enhebre la aguja pasando el hilo desde el frente hacia el reverso por el ojo dela aguja y deje más o menos 10 cm (4 pulgadas) hilo. (6)

q Thread tension / Tensión del hilo

Lower thread tensionTo test the bobbin thread tension, remove the bobbin case andbobbin and hold it by suspending it by the thread. Jerk it once ortwice. If the tension is correct, the thread will unwind by about an inchor two. If the tension is too tight, it does not unwind at all. If thetension is too loose, it will drop too much. To adjust, turn the smallscrew on the side of the bobbin case.Upper thread tensionBasic thread tension setting: 4To increase the tension, turn the dial to the néxt number up. Toreduce the tension, turn the dial to the next number down.A Normal thread tensionB Upper thread tension too looseC Upper thread tension too tight

Note:The bobbin thread tension does not normally have to be adjusted.

Tensión del hilo inferiorPara controlar la tensión del hilo inferior coger el porta-canillas llenopor la punta del hilo y dejarlo colgado en el aire. Si la canilla no sedesenrolla mientras el porta-canillas se oscila ligeramente, entoncesla tensión es demasiado fuerte. Pero si en cambio se cae al suelo ose devana muy facilmente, entonces la tensión es muy floja.La tensión es correcta cuando el porta-canillas baja unos 10 cm ydespués se para colgado al hilo.

Atencion:Normalmente no es necesario cambiar la tensión del hilo inferior.

Hold the upper thread with the left hand. Turn thehandwheel forwards until the needle is raised. (1)

Pull on the upper thread to bring the lower thread upthrough the stitch plate hole. Lay both threads to the backunder the presser foot. (2)

Sujetar la punta del hilo superior con la mano. Girar elvolante hacia adelante hasta que la aguja esté de nuevoen su posición más alta. (1)

At the end of seam, press down the reverse sewing lever. Sew afew reverse stitches. Release the lever and the machine will sewforwards again. (Illustration #1, Fig.A.)

Turn the handwheel towards to bring the thread take up lever loits highest position, raise the presser foot and remove worktowards the back. (2)

Install the darning plate. (1)

Position the work under the foot. Place the button on the markedposition, lower the foot, adjust stitch width lo "0" and sew a fewsecuring stitches. Adjust the stitch width. Turn the handwheel to checkthat the needle goes cleanly into the left hole of the button (adjust thestitch width according lo the button), and sew on the button. Adjust thestitch width to "0" and sew a few securing stitches.

If a shank is required, place a darning needle on top of the button andsew. (3) For buttons with 4 holes, sew through the front two holes first(2), push work forward and then sew through the back two holes asdescribed. (3)

q How to sew buttonholes

Preparation:Remove the zigzag foot and attach the buttonhole foot. Adjust the stitchlength dial between 0.5-1. The density of the stitch depends on thicknessof the fabric.Note : Always test sew a buttonhole.

To prepare the fabric:Measure the diameter of the button and add 0.3 cm (1/8") for the bartacks.If yoú have a very thick button, add more to.the diameter measurement.Mark the position and length of the buttonhole on the fabric.Position the fabric so that the needie is on the mark that is furthest fromyou.Pul¡ the buttonhole foot towards you as far as it will go.Lower the'foot.

a. Tum the pattern selector dial to ri. . Sew at moderate speed until youreach the end mark.

b. Turn the pattern selector dial to Q and sew 5-6 bartack stitches.

c. Turn the pattern selector dial to 7 and sew the left side of thebuttonhole to the mark at the end which is further from you.

d. Tum the pattem selector dial to 0 and sew bar tack stitches.

Remove the fabric from under the foot. Draw the upper thread through thebackside of the fabric and knot upper and lower threads. Cut the center ofthe buttonhole with the seam ripper, being careful not to cut the stitcheson either side.

Tips:• Slightly reduce upper thread tension to produce better results.• Use backing material for fine and stretchy fabrics.• It is advisable to use a gimp cord for stretch or knit fabrics . The zigzag

should sew over the gimp.

El Coser ojales

Preparar1. Sacar el pié zig-zag y colocar el pié ojalador.2. Medir el diámetro y el espesor del botón y agregar 3 mm para marcar

los remates del ojal en la tela.3. Colocar la tela bajo el pié de modo que la, marca en el pié hojalador

coincida con la marca en la tela. Bajar el pié, de modo que la lineacentral de la marca del ojal en la tela quede en el centro del pié.

Ajustar la longitud de la costura colocando el dial en el area "0.5-1" paratener una correcta densidad de costura de acuerdo al tipo de tela.Siempre pruebe antes de hacer un ojal.

Seguir la secuencia . Tener cuidado de no coser demasiadas puntadas enposiciones 2 y 4. Usar el abridor y cortar el ojal desde ambos extremoshacia el centro.

Consejos útiles:- Reducir un poco la tensión superior produce buenos resultados.- Usar un fondo para telas finas o elásticas.- Es aconsejable usar cordón para telas elásticas o tejidos de punto. El

zig-zag debe coser sobre el cordón.

edges to a thin piece of paper leaving a small space between them.2. Set the Pattern selector as illustrated. Turn the stitch length dial to Si"."3. Stitch along the edge, pulling both threads slightly when beginning to sew.

• Use thicker than normal threads for sewing.4. After sewing, remove the basting and the paper. Finish by tying knots on

the reverse side at the beginning and the end of the seams.

Preparation for Monogramming and EmbroideringDraw the desired lettering or design on the right side of the fabric.Stretch the fabric between embroidery hoop as firmly as possible.Place the fabric under the needle. Make sure the presser foot bar is downin its lowest position.

Embroidering1. Stitch the outline of the design by moving the embroidery

hoop.2. Fill in the design working from the outline of the design to

the inside and from the inside to the edge of the outline untilthe design is completely filled in. Keep the stitching closetogether.

'Along stitch is made by moving the hoop rapidly and a shortstitch is made by moving it slowly.

3. Secure with a few Straight Stitches at the end of the design.

' The walking foot accessory is optional . It is not included with thismachine.

Alwavs trv to sew first without the walking foot accessory whichshould be used only when necessary.

It is easier to guide the fabric and you have a better view of theseam when using the standard , regular foot on your machine. YourEURO -PRO sewing machine offers excellent stitch quality on awide range of fabrics from delicate chiffons to multiple layers ofdenim.

The "Walking foot" accessory equalizes the feeding of the upperand lower layers of fabric and improves the matching of plaids,stripes and patterns . This foot helps to prevent uneven feeding ofvery difficult fabrics.

1. Lift the presser foot bar.2. Remove the "foot holder" by opening counter clockwise the

presser bar attaching screw. (3)3. Attach the "waiking foot" lo the machine in the following way.

1) The fork arm should fit finto the needie screw and clamp. (2)ii) Slide the plastic 'attaching head ' from your left lo right so

that it is fitted into the "presser foot bar"iii) Lower the 'presser foot bar'.iv) Replace and tighten clockwise the "presser bar attaching

screw"4. Make sure both the 'needie screw ' and the 'presser bar

attaching screw ' are tightly secured.5. Draw the bobbin thread up and place both the bobbin thread

and the needie thread behind the walking foot attachment.

Siempre tratar de coser _-primero sin usar los accesorios delwálkingfoot sino solamente cuando fuera necesario.

Es fácil para guiar la tela y Ud. puede tener mejor visión decostura cuando cosiendo en normal, regular el pie de su máquina.Su máquina de coser ofrecer excelente calidad de punto del rangoancho de telas desde la gasa delicada a capa multiple de tela.

Los accesorios del "Walking Foot" igualar el alimento a superior einferior de capas de tela y mejorar la emparejación de telas,bandas y modelos. Este pie ayudar a prevenir alimento desigualde telas dificiles.

1. Levante la barra del pie prensatela2. Remueve la "asa del pie" mediante abre el mostrador dextrorso

la barra prensatela sujetando el tornillo. (Fig. #3)

3. Sujeta el "Walking Foot"a la máquina con los siguientes medios:

i) El brazo debe aptar sobre al tornillo de aguja y laabrazadera. (Fig.#2)

ii) Deslizarse el plástico sujetando la cabeza desde suizquierda a la derecha entonces está aptado en la barra delpie prensatela.

iii) Baja la barra del pie prensatela.iv) Cambia y estirar dextrorsamente el "tornillo sujeto de la

barra prensatela"4. Asegurarse ambos tornillos de aguja y el tornillo sujeto de la

barra prensatela están firmemente sujetado.5. Dibuja el hilo de canilla arriba y colocar ambas canilla hilo y el

hilo de aguja atrás del sujeto de walking foot.

q Maintenance

Attention:Disconnect the machine from the electricity supply by removing theplug from the mains socket. When cleaning the machine, it mustalways be disconnected from the electricity supply.

Remove the stitch píate:Turn the handwheel until the needle is fully raised. Open the hingedfront cover and unscrew the needle plate screw withe the screwdriver.(1)

Cleaning the feed dog:Remove the bobbin case and use the brush supplied to clean the wholearea.(2)

Cleaning and lubricating the hook:Remove the bobbin case. Snap the two hook retaining arms (3)outwards. Remove the hook race cover (4) and the hook (5) and cleanwithe a soft cloth. Lubricate at the points (6) (1-2 drops) with sewingmachine oil. Tum the handwheel until the hook race (7) is in the leftposition. Replace the hook (5). Replace the hook race cover and snapback the two hook retaining arms. Insert he bobbin case and bobbinand replace the stitch plate.

Important:Fabric fluff and threads must be removed regularly. Your machineshould be serviced at regular intervals at one of our service agencies.

q Manutención de la máquina

Atención:

Ames de la limpieza desconectar la máquina quitando el enchufe dela red eléctrica.

Quitar la placa de la aguja:Girar el volante hasta que la aguja este en el punto más alto. Abrir latapa con charnela y sacar el tornillo de la placa de aguja por eldestornillador. (1)

Limpieza del transportadorSacar el porta-canillas. Limpiar bien toda la zona con un pincel. (2)

Limpieza y aceitado de la lanzadera:Sacar el porta-canillas. Girar los dos gatillos de sujeción hacia afueracomo en la ilustración. Sacar la tapa del carril (4) y la lanzader (5).Limpiar todo con un paño suave. Poner 1-2 gotas de aceite de máquinade coser en el (6). Girar el volante hasta que-el carril de la lanzadera (7)esté en la izquierda. Poner la lanzadera (5) y la tapa del carril (4).Cerrar de nuevo los dos gatillos de sujeción (3). Meter de nuevo elporta-canillas y la placa de la-aguja.

Importante:De vez en cuando se deben quitar los residuos de hilo y el polvo.Para que su máquina de coser esté siempre en buenas condiciones,es recomendable un control periódico. por nuestra asistencia técnica.
