Thebuckleofthevehiclesafetybeltmustnotcomeabovetheedgeofthelapbeltguide.Ifindoubtorifyouarestilluncertain,pleasecontactCONCORD.Thebeltsmayonlyberoutedviathepointsofcontactandthepositionsontheseatstatedintheuserinstructions.Beltsmustnotberoutedinanyotherway.
Ifthecarseatusedhasafrontairbag,werecommendpositioningthecarseatasfarbackaspossible.Forcarswithfrontandsideairbags,theinstructionsinthecar’soperatingmanualmustalsobeobserved.Thecar’sshoulder/diagonalbeltmustpassforwardsfromthevehiclebrackettotheshoulderbeltguide(06). Place the CONCORD TRANSFORMER on the car seat or bench seat, facing in the direction of travel.The CONCORD TRANSFORMER should lie flush with theseat.Incarswithstandardheadrests,thesemaybeadjustedorremovedtomakeiteasiertoinstallthechildcarseat.Pleasenotethatthecarheadrestsmustbereplacedandre-positionedcorrectlywhenanadultistravellinginthecar.
Theseatmaynotbetransportedunsecuredinthevehicle,even if there is no child passenger. Otherwise passengers riskinjuryduringthejourneyorintheeventofanaccident.Forthisreason,thebeltmustalwaysbefastenedwhentravelling.
_ USiNG THE CONCOrD TrANSFOrMEr PrO
YouhavedecidedtopurchaseourCONCORDTRANSFORMERPROseatforthesafetyofyourchild.Thisproductismanufacturedunderstrictqualitycontrols.Itcanonlyeffectuateitsmaximumsafetypropertiesifitisusedproperly.Thecoverisanimportantcomponentandcontributestotheseat’seffectiveness;forthisreasontheseatmustonlybeusedwithitsoriginalcover!Youshouldthereforeensurethatyoufollowtheinstructionsforfittingandusecarefully.
Theseatmaybeusedonanyseatinyourcarthatisfittedwithathree-pointseatbelt.Statistics suggest that the place behind the passenger seat is the safest in the car.

Incarswithstandardheadrests,thesemaybeadjustedorremovedtomakeiteasiertoinstallthechildcarseat.Pleasenotethatthecarheadrestsmustbereplacedandre-positionedcorrectlywhenanadultistravellinginthecar.
ATTENTiON!• TWINFIXisanadditionalfittingsystemforsecuringtheCONCORD TRANSFORMER and is not suitable for securing a child.•Childrenmustalwaysbesecuredbymeansofthecar’sthree-pointsafetybelt.
Pull the TWINFIX central strap (08) forwards and guide the CONCORD TRANSFORMER back until it lies as close/flushaspossibletothecarseatbackrest.
Push the TWINFIX button (09) down andsimultaneouslypullouttheTWINFIX adapters (10) on the back of thechildseattotheirfullextent.
Position the CONCORD TRANSFORMER facing forwards on the vehicle seat or bench fitted with ISOFIX points.
Push both TWINFIX adapters (10) on to the ISOFIX points inthevehicleuntilthelockingmechanismshaveclickedaudiblyintoplace.

TheCONCORDTRANSFORMERwithCONCORDTWINFIXsystemhasbeencertifiedfor“semi-universal”useandissuitableforinstallationontheseatsofspecifiedvehicles.Pleaserefertotheadditional“CARFITTINGLIST”leafletforanoverviewofcarsandvehicleseatscompatiblewiththeCONCORDTWINFIXsystematthetimeyourchildseatwasmanufactured.
Foracontinuouslyupdatedversion,pleasevisitwww.concord.de.
ToremovetheCONCORDTRANSFORMER,presstheTWINFIXbutton(09) down and movetheseatfullyforwards.
Now open the lock of the TWINFIX adapters (10)sothatthesafetyhooksopen and the adapters pop out.
Pull the TWINFIX central strap (08) forwards until the TWINFIX adapters (10)arefullyretracted!
You can also push the TWINFIX adapters (10)furtherintotheseatbyhand!

WArNiNG!• TheCONCORDPROTECTORmayonlybeusedinconjunctionwiththe CONCORD TRANSFORMER PRO.• TheCONCORDTRANSFORMERPROcanbeusedwithouttheCONCORD PROTECTOR,oncethechildhasreachedabout4yearsofageor approx.15kgbodyweight. CAUTiON!
• Ensurethatthestabilisors(P3)arepositionedcorrectlyintheharnessguides(03) of the CONCORD TRANSFORMER!• TheCONCORDPROTECTORmustnotbeattachedatanangle,askew or back to front!
Mount the CONCORD TRANSFORMER on the vehicle seat as described in the user manual.
PlaceyourchildontotheseatoftheCONCORD TRANSFORMER as far back as possible.
Place the CONCORD PROTECTOR onto the CONCORD TRANSFORMER so that the stabilisers (P3) are level with the harness guides (03) of the CONCORD TRANSFORMER.
Pushtherestrainingbodybackwardsuntilthe stabilisors (P3) are flush with the red markingsontheharnessguide.

Nowpositiontheseatbeltscorrectly.Run the lap and diagonal seat belts through the harness guide (P2) on both sides. Hook the seat belts into the attachmenthooks(P1).
The diagonal belt will run along the front edge of the sideprotector,andthelapbeltoverthearmrestsoftheCONCORD TRANSFORMER.
Theseatbeltmustnotbelaidoutinanyotherway.
CAUTiON!• Theseatbeltsmustbepositionedsecurelybehindtheattachmenthooks(P1)!• YoumustalwaysusethesizeadjustmentontheCONCORDTRANSFORMERto adapt the seat to the size of the child, when using the CONCORD PROTECTOR!• Tightenfirstthelapbeltandthenthediagonalbelt.• Ensurethattheseatbeltsaresnugandnottwisted.
Thecovercanberemovedforwashing.Makesuretoleavethecovertodrycompletely,beforereattachingit!When attaching the cover on the CONCORD PROTECTOR, pull it over the top of the unit and tuck the surrounding groove at the harness guide (P2).
• Thecovermaterialcolourmayrunslightly when wet, in particular during washing.• Donotusesolventsonthecover!
RunthelapanddiagonalbeltfromtheCONCORDPROTECTORtothelockandclosethe seat belt as with an adult. (An audible click will signal proper locking.)

The shoulder belt guide (06)shouldbeslightlyabovethetopofthechild‘sshoulder.Atthesametime,theshoulderbeltshouldpasscentrallybetweenthechild‘sneckandtheouteredge of the shoulder.
To adjust the CONCORD TRANSFORMER to the size of thechild,gentlypresstheheadsection (01) down. Now press the sizeadjustmentbutton(04) on the back of the backrest and keep it

Seatyourchildwellbackintheseatingarea.Passthethree-point belt across the front of the child to the seat beltlock,andfastenitinthesamewayasforanadult.(Theremustbeanaudibleclick.)
Now position the belts. Pass the lap belt across both sides and the diagonal belt on the side of the seat belt lock through the lap belt guide (03). Finally,passthediagonalbeltthroughtheprovidedshoulder belt guide (06).
Make sure the belt passes inside the securing hook.

Pull the belt taut so that the lap belt and diagonal belt are well positioned and ensure that the belts are not twisted. The lap belt should be in the lowest possible position. Ifyourvehicleisfittedwithaseatbeltheightadjuster,adjustitsheightaccordingly.
Whenyouwishtoreleasethechildfromtheseat,allyouneedtodoisopenthelockandpassthestrapbackacrossthechild.Toremovetheshoulderbeltfromtheguide,press the shoulder belt locking button (05) and pull the belt forwards and out.
Itisimportanttoensurethatthebeltsarealwayscorrectlypositionedeachtimetheseatisused.Ifindoubtaboutanyaspectoffitting,checkwithCONCORD.Thebeltsmustpassthroughtheguidesmarkedinredontheseat.Beltsmustnotberoutedinanyotherway.
_ GENErAL iNFOrMATiON
•Thisisa“universal”childrestraintsystem.Itisapprovedforgeneraluseinvehicles inaccordancewithECERegulation44,Amendment04andfitsmost,butnotall, passenger vehicle seats.•ThischildrestraintsystemfromECEgroupsI,IIandIIIissuitableforchildrenfrom 9months–12yearsweighing9–36kg.•Itcanbeassumedthatthesystemwillfitcorrectlyifthevehiclemanufacturerstates inthevehiclemanualthatthevehicleissuitablefortheinstallationofa“universal” childrestraintsystemfortherelevantagegroup.•Thischildrestraintsystemhasbeenclassifiedasbeingofthe“universal”class, satisfyingstricterconditionsthanpreviousmodelswhichdonotbearthislabel.•Ifindoubt,pleaseconsultthemanufacturerofthechildrestraintsystemortheretailer.•Onlysuitableforvehicleswiththree-point(lapanddiagonal)seatbeltstestedand approvedinaccordancewithECERegulation16oracomparablestandard.

Toreplace,startwiththecoverfortheseatsection.Firstly,pullthecoveroverthecoverpanelonthebackrest,andthen,fromthefront,pullitoverthearmrestsandseatsection. Secure the cover using all of the fastening points.
Attach the cover for the head section (01).
Placethematchingstyrofoampartsintothemarkedpocketontheinsideofthecoversfor the shoulder area (02). Now pull the covers over the protectors for the shoulder area (02).
Thecoversandstyrofoampartsmustnotbe reversed!
•Whentheycomeintocontactwithmoisture,especially duringwashing,thecoverfabricsmayfadeslightly.•Donotusesolvents!

Thecovercanberemovedforwashing.Todoso,movetheheadsection(01) to its highest position.Toremove,pullthecoverawayfromitsanchoringpoints.Beginbyremovingtheheadsection(01)followedbytheseatsectionandtheshouldershields (02).
Removethestyrofoampartsfromthe covers in the shoulder area (02) before washing.
