Why use Digistore?
Students can work at their own pace and can repeat activities to reinforce understanding.
Learning objects combine still and moving images, text, audio and animation to provide interactive multimedia experiences for students.
What are learning objects?
Why use learning objects?
Learning objects use multimedia which is processed through both auditory and visual channels. This helps to improve knowledge retention and recall and is engaging for students.
Learning objects are particularly useful when a concept is hard to represent, difficult or dangerous to replicate, or when repetition is required.
Digitised items are resources that have been sourced from leading Australian and New Zealand cultural and scientific institutions and private collections.
