As Lord Mayor of Copenhagen I am delighted to welcome you to our modern and historic city!

When you explore Copenhagen you will notice how cobblestoned streets and royal castles mix with contemporary urban architecture. Copenhagen is also a green city, and we aim to make it the world’s f irst carbon-neutral capital by 2025. In the city you can swim in the harbour baths and relax in one of the green parks. You can experience renowned Danish design and taste the Nordic kitchen. You might also want to explore the city the Copenhagen way –

by jumping on one of the city bikes. The city is growing rapidly, and you might notice the many construction sites. Hopefully, this will not be of much inconvenience to you.

Above all, I hope you get the feeling that Copenhagen is a city for life. Cosmopolitan with a cozy vibe.

I wish you a wonderful stay in our city.

Frank JensenLord Mayor of Copenhagen
