For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life- John 3.16
My dear Children, Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Jesus loved different and difficult people. He loved people who were devoted to Him and those who were different from Him and His love is steadfast as it was 2000 years ago.
If we can follow some of these passages, we can learn how to Love like Jesus.
Forgive One Another: The quintessential example of forgiveness was exhibited when Jesus hung on the Cross and cried out for those who were crucifying Him: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34). We should forgive others even when they are not worthy to ask for it.
Love does not keep a record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:5).
Accept One Another: To profoundly love someone, you must avoid trying to change the person for your own motives.
Accepting love is patient and kind, even when they do not meet your expectations (1 Corinthians 13:4).
Honor One Another: Honor means to respect someone with great importance. When we value others above ourselves, we are emulating the attitude of Christ.
Don't do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves. And look out for one another's interests, not just for your own. The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had: (Philippians 2:3-5).
Loving others aren’t easy, but Christ-Like love means Forgiving, Accepting and Honoring those who are different and difficult. We can only give love when our hearts are full of God's love.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)
May God, help us to Forgive, Accept and Honor others.
