Canyon Lake Pavilion Coming!

By Darin Zumwalt, CRRC Executive Director

CRRC is growing for our community! This past week, our County Commissioners have approved a recommendation from the County Parks Allocation Committee to award CRRC funding to help complete a 2,100 sq ft pavilion to be erected next to our Out-door Basket Ball Court. These funds will be com-bined with a very generous amount contributed by the Canyon Lake Noon Lions Club and we hope to pour our slab by July 1st of this year. The funds will also allow us to erect the supports and roof soon thereaf-ter. In order to complete the building, CRRC will be soliciting donations from our community. Our Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Staff have already personally committed funds for the project. Upon completion, the Pavilion will have a caterer’s kitchen, restroom facilities and storage for tables and chairs. The pavilion will benefit all of the entities in the Hidden Valley Sports Park and be available for rental by our community for events and open for pub-lic use. Your donation is tax deductable.
