Author Donna Searight Simons, “Copper Empire” Tuesday, May 1, 7:00-8:00PM Donna Searight Simon's book Copper Empire centers around a copper mining family and the hardships they endured during the 1913 labor strike that led to the Italian Hall disaster. Over 70 people (mostly children) were killed. Registration encouraged. Live Farm Animals @ the Library Saturday, May 19, 11:00AM-12:00PM The farm is coming to the library! The whole family will enjoy coming to see a pony, donkey, goats, sheep, alpaca, bunnies, ducks, and a baby cow. This program will be outside, so dress appropriately. No registration required.
