“Bricks 4 Kidz classes provide an atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play..with LEGO Bricks. Programs are built around the model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz educational play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that the kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.”

or service delivery: years: years: In our community there are many students unprepared for STEM careers after graduation. The rate is currently 37.2 per 1000 STEM jobs for people who graduate with a STEM degree. It would be much better to be closer to make this number 85 per 1000.This problem is a result of young students who are not aware of STEM and do not have the opportunity to explore STEM.

Early Childhood (3-8), Middle Childhood (9-13+) will participate in Bricks 4 Kidz , a program that we learn, we build, we play with LEGO bricks

The outputs will be a monthly count of how many Early Childhood (3-8), Middle Childhood (9-13+) sign up for and participate in the program

The percent of students who lack knowledge about STEM will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating.

The percent of low rates of students who pursue STEM for career / college will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating.

The community problem of students unprepared for STEM careers after graduation will decline from the current amount of 37.2 per to 85 per 1000 STEM jobs.

Logical Approach Literature Review - A STEM education should increase students’ understanding of how things work

and improve their use of technologies by introducing more engineering. - STEM curriculum can be incorporated through group activities, lab investigations,

and projects which allow students to develop 21st century skills and prepare them to make decisions.

- International tests show that United States students are falling behind their peers in mathematics and science.

- Very few STEM programs focus on the need for better elementary- level teaching for math and science, elementary level learning lays the foundation for later success.

- The Tough Choices or Tough Times (TCTT) emphasizes preparing students for the 21st century by creating a curriculum that is more creative work and less routine work.

- The Taking Science to School committee developed four objectives which reflect a change in science education. Changes include teaching that focuses on what we know and developing an understanding that children can think abstractly.
