McDonald’s has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join the marketing team, based at Ascot in Perth on a full-time basis reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. The main purpose of the Marketing Manager role is: Lead the state’s marketing function, working with licensee leaders and regional management to achieve state goals and objectives; Analyse business, consumer and market data to develop strong customer insights and to inform state marketing priorities and activities; Formulate a consumer and business insight led State strategic marketing plan to deliver sales and traffic goals; Develop, implement and review state marketing activity which amplifies national launches and addresses state priorities to drive sales; Set, monitor and maintain budgets and expenditure in collaboration with licensees; Deliver optimal return on media investment for WA media budget working with national media manager, media agency and key stakeholders; Develop, implement and review state sponsorships and public relations activity to build the McDonald's brand; Build the capabilities of licensees and restaurants to execute marketing activities locally; and Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with national departments, a media agency, public relations agency, suppliers, regional departments and management. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in marketing/ business and a minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role within a fast paced business and industry; Proven ability to build relationships with a large number of stakeholders through genuine communication, prompt action and effective problem solving; Proven ability to lead, facilitate and negotiate with a large number of stakeholders, including navigating conflicting viewpoints; Excels at presenting to stakeholders; Strong time management, business writing, organisation and attention to detail; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
