Welcome to the festival . . .
Welcome to our ninth annual West Waterford Festival of Food, which this year celebrates The Changing Kitchen, showcasing fresh chefs, fresh flavours, interesting influences and good ideas.
We are delighted this year to have many of our festival favourites returning to us, as well as adding new elements like The Health Hub, where new health food trends will be discussed and demoed, Gourmet Garbage, a dinner addressing the issue of food waste in the restaurant industry and our Town Hall Demo which will showcase some of the best talent in Ireland’s current food scene.
Alongside this there will be lots of on-street entertainment, including our Seafood Saturday extravaganza, our famous Sunday market and lots of fun and activity at the castle, including our living wall displays, the fruition of our primary schools Seed To Plate project.
