Her duties initially included working as lifeguard on a tower. However, over the past 6 years, Ms. Martin has been given a leadership role as a Junior Lifeguard instructor. She has continually displayed the maturity and expertise to instruct youth 9-17 years old, as well as design lesson plans, and curriculum. Ms. Martin’s primary responsibility was the organization and administration of the program, which has upwards of 220 children. The youth are taught lifeguarding skills, CPR, first-aid, boating safety, sun protection, physical fitness, and the proper spirit and approach to competition. Given the wide range of ages in this program, Ms. Martin’s approach in teaching these skills to various young minds was always very effective. Tiffany’s work ethics are always exceptional. She is a very motivated individual who often encourages other lifeguards to excel in their role as instructors. Her relationship with the public is extremely professional and positive, always enhancing the participant’s and parent’s perception of the Junior Lifeguard Program. Her presence and demeanor are always professional and approachable. Ms. Martin often exceeds the expectations of her position by her sound performance and mature leadership ability. I would highly recommend Tiffany Martin for any leadership position involving the education and development of today’s youth. Sincerely, Brian Miller Senior Lake Lifeguard Junior Lifeguard Director [email protected]
