The Good Samaritan Center is asking for

donations of syrup in May.

Father John will celebrate a Memorial Day Mass at Mt. Carmel Cemetery beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday the 29th. Please plan to attend and celebrate the lives of those who have given their all to protect and defend us. There won’t be a Mass at the Church that morning.

Youth Group: There are no meetings planned for the month. We would like to get together 1-2 times over the summer so check your email for further information. Have a great rest of the school year!

PSR: Today is the feast of the Ascension of the Lord. There will be training for new altar servers after each Mass this weekend. Don’t forget to sign up for Vacation Bible School. No PSR this summer.

The 42nd Annual PCHS Blue & White Golf Tour-nament is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th at Worthington Golf Course with an 8:00 am shotgun start. Cost is $ 65 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, dinner on the course, and prizes Hole Sponsors are also available for $ 125. The 2017 Catholic Sharing Appeal continues this weekend with the theme being “Hands to SERVE and Hearts to LOVE“ . Our 2017 parish goal year

is $26,690. If our goal is reached then 1/2 of the money returns to the Parish and 100% of everything over the goal. The best part is that this money is not “taxed” by the Diocese. Your generosity is truly ap-preciated. If you wish to drop your envelope in the collection basket we will forward it to the Diocese.

Vacation Bible School 2017: VBS will be held on June 11-15 from 6 -8:15 pm at St. Margaret Mary Parish Activity Center. Sign-up sheets are in the gathering area. Headline Books invites you to a book release party featuring the new novel by our parishioner, Don Stansberry, "VULTURE BEND." The release will be held at the Grand Pointe Conference Center on Tuesday, May 30th. Stop in anytime between 3:00 and 7:00. Dress is casual and refreshments will be available.

Adult Session Vacation Bible School 2017: Adult Vacation Bible School session to be help on June 11-15 on Pope Francis – Our Common Home. The first night everyone meets in the gym at the St. Mar-garet Mary Activity Center at 6:00. Session last until 8. The last night is a covered dish dinner with a program. A list of speakers and topics are on the table in the gathering area.

Learn to Read Music - Second Chance. The 8-week course in basic music reading and beginning theory will be offered again for the summer. Classes are free and open to all, from the complete novice to trained musicians. No need to enroll, just show up
