STAGE 2 : SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

FORMULA: Subj + v (present) + obj

Eg: 1. Ali eats fried rice. 2. He drinks tea. 3. They watch television.

Exercise 1. Write simple present tense sentences.

Saya pergi ke pasar.

Ali jalan kaki ke pasar.

Mereka berlari ke pasar.

Dia (lelaki) pergi ke sekolah.

Dia (perempuan) tulis sepucuk surat.

STAGE 3 : PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

FORMULA: Subj + V2B(present) + V (ing) + obj.

Eg: 1. Ali + is + eating + fried rice. He + is + drinking + tea. They + are + watching + television.

Exercise 1. Write simple present continuous tense sentences.

Saya sedang dalam perjalanan ke pasar.

Ali sedang berjalan kaki ke pasar.

Mereka sedang berlari ke pasar.
