1. Pick up 1 size 11/0 seed bead & 1 4mm pearl
eight times.
2. Run your needle &
thread back through
the same path to
create a circle.

3. Tie a square knot, go through a few more beads
(come out of an 11/0) and pull the knot into the
bead next to it.
4. Pick up 7 size 11/0 seed beads, skip a
pearl then go through the next seed
bead in the circle.
5. Repeat 7 more times for 8 loops
total.

6. Weave up through the
seed beads until you
come out of the 4th
bead in the first loop.
7. Pick up a 4mm Pearl
then sew through the
center bead of the next
loop over.
8. Repeat until there is a Pearl between every loop. Then
sew through the 1st Pearl in this row again and the 11/0
seed bead next to it.
Next you will anchor your coin
bead.

through the center bead of the
next loop.

There are many ways to use these components.
Because they are the same front & back, they can be used as “beads” with other beads strung
in between them.

They may be attached with beads worked into a Right Angle Weave with pearls that make up a
center row.
1. To connect the units with Right Angle Weave, sew down to the row of beads on the
outer edge of your coin.
2. Sew through an 11/0 seed bead, a peal
& an 11/0 seed bead.
3. Pick up 1 size 11/0, 1
Pearl & 1 more 11/0. Move over to the neighboring Component and sew through an
11/0 seed bead, Pearl & 11/0 seed bead on it’s edge.

4. Pick up another set of 11/0, Pearl & 11/0 & sew through the first set in the first unit.
5. Reinforce circle by sewing through again. Pull tight and tie off the end.

6. Create your necklace base by
stringing your beads onto beading
wire. Tie or crimp your wire to a
wrapped wire loop. Run that wire
through a cone then wrap on your
clasp.
7. Join your beaded components to
your strand with Right Angle
Weave.
**If you want more of a curve in your
necklace, join on the sides leaving 2 top
beads and 4 bottom on the center row.
