WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT THE MHEA AWARDS CELEBRATING THE SUCCESSES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS WORKING WITHIN THE BULK MATERIALS HANDLING INDUSTRY.

Free to enter, the awards are open to companies or individuals who have made an outstanding

contribution to the bulk materials handling industry during 2018/2019. From ports, power and mining

to steel and cement, and everything in between – we want to hear from you.

Application is easy. Simply complete the online awards entry form and submit before the closing

date of 31 July 2019.

MAKING A DIFFERENCEThe Materials Handling Engineers Association works to support the interests of companies supplying and using bulk handling materials worldwide.

The association is proud to support the technical and commercial interests of UK companies and offers businesses, suppliers and users of bulk handling materials the opportunity to tap into a unique technical marketing knowledge base and share good practice.

Your support and activities make a real difference, and these awards celebrate and recognise your achievements.

AWARD CATEGORIES

The awards are divided into the following categories:

• INNOVATION AWARD An award for the introduction of new technology or improved solution in the bulk materials handling industry.

• APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an apprentice’s exceptional progress and their contribution to their workplace during their apprenticeship. Applicants must be based in the UK and have completed or be in an apprenticeship scheme within the last 12 months.

• PROJECT OF THE YEAR An award acknowledging a project which has achieved significant success through effective management and delivery approaches. Awards are considered for projects demonstrating excellence, regardless of size in the bulk materials handling industry.

• SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR An award recognising exemplary service, performance and customer commitment by a supplier in the bulk materials handling industry.

• ENGINEER OF THE YEAR An award to celebrate the Year of the Engineer. To enter applicants must be based in the UK and worked within bulk handling within the last 12 months.

HAROLD WRIGHT AWARDThe Harold Wright Award will be awarded to the individual or company who the judges consider to have made an outstanding contribution to the Bulk Materials Handling Industry.

HOW TO ENTEREntry is open to any company or individual member who has made a contribution to the bulk materials handling industry.

To enter the awards, please complete the entry form and submit online no later than 31 July 2019. Shortlisted entries will be announced early in September 2019.

AWARDS CEREMONYWinners will be announced at a gala awards dinner on Wednesday 16 October.

The awards dinner will be held at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham. It promises to be a fantastic event, bringing together a host of organisations and colleagues within bulk materials handling.
