It combines the Online ALEKS placement test with in-class tutoring support to help students understand the con- cepts and overcome their math anxiety. Students learn about the campus, resources, study skills, and get to know peers in their major through our interactive classrooms! » Math 95/96 do not count towards major requirements or graduation » Math 95/96 are not covered by the Millenium Scholarship » Students can save over $1,500 by successfully completing the program and testing into the credit-bearing course for their major » Helps students fulfill the NSHE requirement of continuous enrollment until successful completion of their gateway math course (see below). The Gateway Mathematics & English Policy requires students to complete degree-applicable math and English courses, as specified by the General Education requirements for their majors, prior to the completion of 30 credits. Students must be continuously enrolled in appropriate mathematics and English courses until the General Education core and major prerequisite requirements for mathematics and English requirements are completed.
