MathWorks Fellowship for Graduate Students Master Study Automation and Control at RWTH Aachen Institute of Automatic Control Chance for Scholars Both MathWorks and the Institute of Automatic Control at RWTH Aachen offer a 3-year sponsorship to scholars of the master study automation and control at RWTH. Up to two students per year will be granted the MathWorks Fellowship, starting on Oct. 1st each year. Benefits The MathWorks Fellowship provides the following benefits: • Fellows receive a funding of 300 € per month over the complete period of sponsorship. • A mentor/supervisor with regard to product related topics will be assigned to each fellow by MathWorks. • Participation at MathWorks product trainings. • MathWorks mentors help to find appropriate topics for a diploma or master thesis. • Before starting their first term, fellows are invited to an introductory event at MathWorks. Fellowship Requirements Candidates for the MathWorks Fellowship are elected according to the following criteria: • Matriculation for the master course in Automation Engineering at the RWTH Aachen. Point of Contact: Institute of Automatic Control (Institut für Regelungstechnik, IRT) • Completed Bachelor or Graduate Engineer course of study with excellent grades • Graduation preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering • Willing and able to function as a MathWorks “Ambassador” with the objective to internally act as main contact for users at the RWTH Aachen to support MathWorks with regard to product related topics/activities such as technical support, coaching and training only upon request of MathWorks. Application Students interested in the MathWorks Fellowship can apply by sending the following materials between May 15 and June 15 to: Institute of Automatic Control (Institut für Regelungstechnik, IRT) at RWTH Aachen to the attention of Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing.
