    TarahWright,associateprofessorintheFacultyofScience,teachesclassesintheEnvironmentalSciencesprogram.Butdon’tthinkforaminutethat’sthebeginningandendofherresearchinterests.Dr.Wrightisalsocross-appointedinInternationalDevelopmentStudies(IDS),theSchoolofPlanning,theSchoolforResourceandEnvironmentalStudies,andtheCollegeofSustainability.Sucharangeofappointmentsandinterestsgoeshandinhandwithherviewthat“We’vefragmentedandsectoralizedourselvesandourthinkingontheenvironment,”andthatit’simportanttoadoptamoreholisticwayoflookingatsolvingenvironmentalproblems.Currently,Dr.Wrightisheadingapan-Canadianstudy“lookingatuniversityleaders’understandingsofsustainabilityandtheroleuniversitiescanplayinbuildingasustainablefuture.We’reinterviewingabout260peoplefromfourcohorts:universitypresidents,facilitiesmanagementdirectors,leadersofstudentunions,andleadersoffacultyassociations.

    AsPrincipaloftheFrostCampus,FlemingCollegeandDeanoftheSchoolofEnvironmentalandNaturalResourceSciences,LindaSkiltonplaysaleadroleinplanning,development,marketing,delivery,maintenanceandtheon-goingreviewandevaluationofcoursesandprograms,aswellascampusinfrastructureincludinglandmanagementandfacilitiesconstructionandrenewal.Inaddition,shehasbroadaccountabilityforensuringthatcampusservicesarealignedwiththecampusdirections.PriortoassumingtheleadershiproleattheFrostCampus,Dr.SkiltonledFleming’sSchoolofLawandJusticeattheCollege’smaincampusinPeterboroughfrom1999to2005.LindabeganhercareeratFlemingCollegeasaProfessorintheCustomsAdministrationprogramandtookonanumberofrolesincludingprogramcoordinator,studentadvisorandcollegecouncilfacultyrepresentative.Dr.SkiltonisagraduateofBrockUniversitywheresheearnedaBachelorofArtsinEnglishLiteratureandBachelorofEducation.ShecompletedherMasterofArtsinEducationin1992fromCentralMichiganUniversityandcompletedherPh.D.inhighereducationfromOISEatUniversityofTorontoin2013.

    StephenBockingisaprofessorandresearcheratTrentUniversity.HehasbeenamemberoftheEnvironmentalandResourceStudiesProgramatTrentUniversitysince1994,aswellastheUniversityofBritishColumbia,YorkUniversityandattheUniversityofToronto,whereheobtainedhiseducationinbiologyandthehistoryofscience.AtTrentUniversity,Stephenteachesavarietyofcoursesinenvironmentalstudies,andconductsresearchonvariousaspectsofenvironmentalscienceandpolitics,bothhistoricallyandincontemporarycontexts.StephenisalsotheChairoftheEnvironmentalandResourceScience/StudiesProgram(ERS),Canada'sleadingundergraduateenvironmentalstudiesprogramthatprovidesawidearrayofstudyoptions.In2010theERSbecamethefirstenvironmentalscienceprograminCanadatobeaccreditedbyECOCanada,andinSeptember2011launchedCanada'sfirstBAandBScdegreeprogramsinSustainableAgricultureandFoodSystems.
