Exhibitor Analysis

991 exhibitors from 26 countries & regions (namely : Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong,

India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore,

Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and USA) had participated in a total of 57,000 sqm

exhibition spaces.

Crowned as the No.1 and most promising fair of its kind in China and in Asia, the 24th SHOES & LEATHER -

GUANGZHOU 2014 was successfully inaugurated on 28 - 30 May 2014. It had marked a breaking record again

with an overall enlargement of 11% in scale. The scale of tannery and shoe material section had increased by 7%.

The growth of the footwear machinery both in exhibition sizes and number of exhibitors had also increased to the

highest ever recorded by 20%.

There were total 14 national pavilions from 8 different countries and regions (Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Italy,

Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey) participated in the show with their innovative machinery, sophisticated

materials, and the know-how technology to provide effective solution to buyers.

international visitor delegation. An overwhelming of 35,160 visitors from 64 countries and regions had streaming

Candidates from 10 countries and regions included China

(Beijing & Guangdong), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia,

Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam had submitted over

167 entries for the competition. Winner Awards had been

presented during the Opening Dinner Banquet on 28th May

It is the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (Organization Support Programme) of

the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The project includes the establishment of the "Hong Kong Innovation Pavilion" featuring iconic products to

promote the transformation and upgrading, development of domestic market, and to further showcase the

capability of Hong Kong footwear industry in planning, design, materials, innovation, advanced production

TREND WALK

The TREND WALK is a non-profit, non-commercial forum sponsored by various renowned shoes
