He is a wonderful little dog with no bad habits that we know of! He had been adopted out for a while but came back because his adopter ended up being very allergic to him, and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about this sweet little guy! playmates and needs someone with love and patience to help teach her manners when meeting other dogs. She will make it worth your while to train her and work with her! Lily knows sit, down, is kennel trained, and house trained too!

SHADOW didn’t get her name from her gorgeous black fur but because she loves people so much and likes to stay close to their side, like a shadow! She likes other dogs and cats, enjoys short walks, and is house trained. Even though she is older, she is full of personality and gets around just fine! She is looking for a home where she can nap in the sunshine or lounge in the house!

BAILEY and MURPHY. Looking for an experienced Boxer lover who will enjoy these two characters and provide a safe, loving home. Bailey (white Boxer) is 7 years old and Murphy (fawn Boxer) is 9 years old. Both are spayed, have complete health exams, are heart worm negative, have microchips, and are current on vaccinations. They are needing a retirement home TOGETHER. They have lived with children, are still lively, and alert. However, they are no longer athletes. Both have old ACL injuries, now with some arthritis. No major health issues or expenses. Both are on weight-watchers, doing well. They have GREAT dispositions, are happy souls who need daily attention, big hugs, brushing, etc.

TROUT: “I’m a 2-year-old female, white and brown, Pit Bull mix. I’m totally house-trained and I do get along with other dogs but am unsure about cats. I don’t do well on a leash but with a little training and nurture I am sure I can master it. I’m very friendly and love to be petted and love to give and receive affection. I love people and would do great in a home with older children. Please come up and see me sometime so I can show off my wonderful qualities. I am spayed, current on vaccinations, and will be microchipped before adoption.”

TEMBLO is a one-year-old Shepherd/Saint Bernard mix. He is a playful superstar who loves the outdoors. Temblo seems to be the dominant alpha male around his dog friends but has been settled down by one of his playmates here at the shelter. He would do okay in a home with a young or mellow dog, but has played very well with a very active lab. Temblo is house broken but he shouldn’t live around farm birds, as he has a fond taste for them. If your family loves going on adventures and wants a best friend to join in on the fun, you might be the perfect match for Temblo. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and will be microchipped before adoption.

TED is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Border Collie who was adopted from the North Platte animal shelter, but was returned due to separation anxiety. He is currently being boarded and is on anxiety medication. The boarding staff loves him and reports he is an amazing, loving dog. He just can’t be left alone! He would be ideal for someone who is home regularly, can take their dog to work with them, or has some experience dealing with separation anxiety issues and can help Ted cope. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is good with other dogs and kids, but cats are unknown.

PLEASE NOTE: Time is of the essence for helping the dogs

featured in the e-WOOF newsletters. Please contact the name/numbers for each

dog before contacting e-WOOF.

In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters-with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. This is an unforeseen circumstance on our part---while we certainly understand the “crossover” may cause frustrations for you as the prospective adopter of an animal we hope you join us in rejoicing for an animal being saved. We appreciate and thank you for your continued

support FOR THE ANIMALS!
