A strategic communication and media professional, Amir Jahangir has been
Honored as the Young Global Leader 2010 by the World Economic Forum for
his work on initiatives to improve the state of media and its co-relation with
innovation and development issues on media ethics.
He is the CEO of “Mishal Pakistan” and has launched the flagship program for Pakistan’s
media development by bringing press clubs & journalist’s associations on a common
platform to identify gaps in issues impacting the society and media ethics. He has worked
on the national strategy to engage media to develop policy frame work and its
dissemination at the grass root level. He is currently working on building a strategic
framework for media to work on investigative journalism on anti-terrorism and counter-
narrative in the country
Jahangir is also the Founding President of “AGAHI Foundation”, a non-profit which works
on designing policy framework by engaging media at the grass root level for creating two
way communications between the policy makers and communities on socio-economic
issues and media’s role to ethically report the real challenges.
He was made Advisor to the Stanford Center of Innovation and Communication
at the Stanford University on Journalism and Media in 2009. The Festival of
Media 2010, Valencia ranked him among the top 10 media personalities in the
world.
Jahangir is an Alumnus of the Harvard University, where has been part of many
programs. Jahangir is a frequent speaker at Academic institutions like Harvard and
Stanford along with at the World Bank, the US State Department and the various
meetings arranged by the World Economic Forum from time to time.
Most recently he was the CEO for SAMAA TV, the first satellite news channel
providing live transmission simultaneously from various cities in Pakistan and
UAE.

Mr. Masood Akhtar served in Pakistan Air Force at tactical,
operational & strategic levels. In the last assignment as Deputy
Chief of Air Staff (Training), he evolved and implemented the
PAF Air Power Doctrine, Training / Educational policy & Flying
Training Policy.
He supervised and led a ten month course of senior military
officers (from Pakistan and ten Allied nations) and civilian
bureaucrats on National and Global Security. He prepared and
introduced a new study on the National Security Policy/Strategy
and Process.
He has been a visiting faculty to the many of renowned institutes
mainly Institute of Business Administration, Karachi Pakistan
and National Security Workshop (NDU).
He is also a freelance media consultant and has appeared in
many television shows.
Jawad Majid Khan is the group head for Emaan Islamic Banking,
Islamabad Pakistan. A graduate in Economics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad,
he has the distinction of being the youngest Country Head of a Bank in Pakistan’s
Banking Industry.
He has many milestones to his name in the banking industry in his span of about 13
years in banking. A pioneer in Islamic Banking in Pakistan his role was pivotal to
establishing & successfully running Two Islamic Banks in Pakistan, Alfalah Islamic Bank
and Dubai Islamic Bank.
Jawad has also been delivering lectures at National and International forums on Islamic
Banking and SME/Retail Banking covering Pakistan’s and Middle Eastern Markets.
He is also actively involved in Social Work & Community service as Chairman of a
welfare Organization “Al-Nasr Foundation” registered with Government of Pakistan
working for the development of Health, Education and Environment in Northern Areas of
Pakistan.
