Step 1: Check that the firearm is clear

Step 4: Begin by feel striping the pistol, hit the disassembly latch release button, and hit the disassembly latch

Step 5: Remove the Slide Stop first by pulling back on it

Step 6: Use the Micro-Tip the help pull up on the spring and push the Slide Stop forward.

Step 7: Take the 5/64 allen key to remove the 4 grip screws





Step 8: Pop that grip out and set it aside and do the same to the other side.

Step 9: After removing the grips you will be left with the internal parts.

Step 10: Remove trigger bar and trigger spring and tap out the trigger return spring pin to swap out the springs.





Step 11: With a 3/32 Punch push out the pin from the right side and capture the center coil on the trigger return spring.

Step 12: Place thumb over the pocket, turn the gun upright and let trigger spring off/fall right out.

Step 13: Remove current stock spring and put the MCARBO trigger return spring in place of it.

Note: Be sure to orient the spring same way when replacing one spring to another.

Step 14: Use 1/16in punchand enter from the left side of the frame so that it grabs the loop of the trigger return spring.

Step 15: With a3/32 from the right side of the frame push out the smaller punch. Use both at the same time to get 3/32 punch captured.





Step 16: Use trigger hinge pin from left of the frame and remove the 3/32 punch. Make sure it’s all centered. New spring should be in place.

Step 17: Return trigger bar back to its place on the right side of the frame. Do not push all the way in and leave an opening.

Step 18: Take flat tip screw driver and pull up on the leg of the trigger return spring. Pulling forward will give you a better vantage point.

Step 19: Push trigger bar into place. Note: Leg on the trigger return spring will drop on the pin.

Step 20: Take trigger bar spring and drop leg into pocket on the frame.

Note: Loops drops into frame. Step 21: Take curve on trigger return spring and drop into trigger bar. Check

tension when done.





Step 22: Take slide stop & slide stop spring place 90 degree bend into pocket on the frame. Pivot until in hole and locate in place.

Step 23: Grab left side grip and drop it into place.

Step 24: Take grip screws with lock washer and drop into openings. Tighten them up with a 5/66 allen key.

Step 25: Flip over and do the same to other side.

Step 26: Add slide back on. Make sure slide is just passed the edge of the frame.

26a. Push on the disassembly lock to lock right in place. 26b. Check to make sure its locked in place.

26c. Perform a function check.

26d. Check slide lock.

26e. Check the safety

26f. Set to fire.

26g. Pull the trigger.

26h. Check the double action.





Step 27: Check modified single and double action trigger pull. Note: Check both trigger pulls twice to confirm
