Now that we are actively marketing property in the second quarter of the year, we trust that this snapshot looking

back at January to March 2016 will be of assistance, especially if you are researching the market or considering

buying or selling in our local area.

As we move well into May, there is a lot of talk about whether the property marketing is changing. Questions about

where are we heading are naturally coupled with this discussion. It is important to temper these discussions with

what we know. Property supply remains low across our favourite suburbs with significantly less transactions on

average compared with the same period last year. Wilston experienced 33% fewer sales, Windsor 53%, Grange

27% and Gordon Park approximately 69% fewer sales. With buyer demand at a consistently strong level, the

current market has the recipe for solid growth.

The fact that inspection numbers, registered bidders at auction and the number of offers being made are up

imbues a sense of confidence in the market. In general there is a sentiment of optimism and we feel this is

driving an apparent interest in upgrading, investing and broadly assessing options. If you require any advice or
