Course Description

Each year, more than 60 workers are killed by falls from scaffolds in the USA, 1 in 5 of the fatal falls in construc-tion. Beside problems with planks and guardrails, the main causes of injuries and deaths on scaffolds are poor planning for assembling and taking them apart, missing tie-ins or bracing, loads that are too heavy, and being too close to power lines. Also falling objects can hurt people below scaffolds.OSHA – USA says a competent person must inspect a scaffold before each work shift and after anything hap-pens that could affect the structure. The competent per-son should be trained in scaffold safety. A competent per-son must supervise if a scaffold is assembled, changed, moved, or taken apart.

This training course will provide participants with the es-sential knowledge and skills to become scaffold compe-tent persons as requested by OSHA.

Final Exam.:Final Exam- Final Exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course.

Certification: TÜV Akademie Middle East certificate will be issued to all attendees.A certificate and Wallet Card will be issued from Scaf-fold Training Institute – Houston - USA

TÜV Middle East Certificate will be issued to all at-tendees.Course Fee mentioned is per delegate.Avail an attractive 10% discount on course fee if you register 30 days before course start date.Courses will be conducted during the designated dates at a 4 star or 5 star hotel in the designated city.Payments to be made in advance. Exact venue of the training will be notified two weeks prior to course start date.This rate includes course notes, buffet lunch, coffee/tea on arrival, morning and afternoon of each day.Accomodation is not included in course fees. How-ever, any accomodation required can be arranged by TÜV Middle East at time of booking.
