Paper Publications-

Mr. G Avinash & Mr. M Sunil Raj has published a paper in International

Conference in Emerging trends in Mechanical Engineering (ICE in ME)

entitled “STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF RADIATOR BLADE WITH

REVERSE ENGINEERING” at GH Patel College of Engineering on 4th &

5th Jan 2013.

S Sambhu Prasad & G Avinash has published a paper entitled

“OPTIMUM MATERIAL EVALUATION OF FAN BLADES USING

REVERSE ENGINEERING” in International Journal of Engineering Sci-

ence Invention (IJESI), ISSN number 2319 – 6734

Conferences Attended-

Mr. M Sunil Raj attended a National conference on “Advances in Model-

ling and Analysis of Aerodynamic Systems” held at NIT, ROURKELA on

1st & 2nd March 2013.

Workshops Organized-

A 2 Day Workshop on “Robotics” was organized on 4th & 5thJanuary

2013.The workshop is organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineer-

ing, in Association with IIT Kharagpur & KYRION Technologies. The work-

shop was conducted for 2 days, for which 150 Mechanical Engineering stu-

dents have attended.

In addition RoboKits, E-Manuals and E-Books were supplied to the students for

better understanding in preparing the Robots. All the participants were issued

participating certificates from KYRION Technologies in association with IIT,

Kharagpur in a Valedictory function on 5-1-2013.

During the workshop, Mr. Vibhore Gupta, Sr. Lead Trainee KYRION Tech-

nologies discussed Robotics and its importance in everyday life and Mr. Kapil

Mishra, Asst. Trainee KYRION Technologies explained the students about the

circuit design and made the students to design them in their PC’s using software

based on C Programming creating their own Robot.

Faculty Interactions-

Dr. P G Sastry (Former Director, NIT-Warangal) interacted with all the faculty

members of the department about the “OUTCOMES-BASED ENGINEERING

EDUCATION FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE” on 24th February 2013.

Most eminent and retired Prof. V N Tagore from NIT Warangal Visited the Col-

lege and Enhanced the young faculty on various teaching methods, technolo-

gies and advancements of various machines” on 3rd April 2013.

A National Level Technical Symposium “STRIDES – ERUDITE

2K13” was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department on 01-03-

2013. The Programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Joseph

Petrus, General manager, GVK Industries Ltd.

Nearly 200 students from 45 colleges across the country have par-

ticipated in various events.

Poster presentation was also organized for 20 posters out of 35 post-

ers received. Out of which some of the best posters are selected in final

round. Prof. K V V Chandramouli was the judge for final selections.

As a part of various events Paper Presentation was organized in which

140 papers were received out of which 25 papers from 45 colleges were se-
