The objectives of P.R.I.M.A. }  Within the framework of a co-financed, co-designed and

co-owned partnership, move forward the agenda for:

}  scientific integration of national research programmes financed by national sources, which can be integrated at transnational level;

}  management integration based on a smart and inclusive governance;

}  financial integration among different national funds.

The Grand Convergence 2035 } Lancet Commission Report: “Global Health 2035: A World Converging within a Generation” – presented at the UN in January 2014

}  the world has the technological and financial capacity to eliminate inequality across countries in the area of health

}  within the next 20 years, it is possible to reduce or eliminate the gap between the poorest and poor countries reaching what the report refers to as the Grand Convergence

}  we have collectively reached the capacity to reduce avoidable deaths by infections and maternal and child mortality in all countries
