CAVITATION

EFFECTS:

Cavitation is the process caused by low frequency ultrasounds that produces micro steam bubbles inside a liquid. Then the pressure applied on the bubble causes their implosion with a resulting energy release that destroys the fat cell.

The oscillation caused by the low-frequency ultrasounds produces microbubbles (or

cavities) that implode inside the fat mass of the

adipocytes, fluidifying it and making the fat expulsion easier. This microbubbles

effect works directly on the adipose panniculus, hits the adipocytes and eliminates or

reduces them in short.

Decompression Phase

During the decompression phase many gas bubbles are produced in tissue. These bubbles increase in size until the

decompression phase is over (reduced pressure). Cavitation is introduced by the production of micro bubbles (gas bubbles in

liquid).

Compression phase

During the second phase, ultrasound creates enormous pressure on these previously enlarged bubbles, compressing them and

making the gas temperature rise until the bubbles implode, releasing a large amount of shock energy.

Med Contour uses the combined action of two low-frequency ultrasounds, directing its energy exclusively to the part to treat.

Both of these powerful ultrasound heads are used to direct a bundled and controlled low-frequency ultrasound

beam to a set subcutaneous fatty-tissue depth. With this method, fatty cells implode due to cavitation, leaving neighbouring structures such as skin, blood vessels,

nerves and connective tissue intact.

Fatty substances are drained via the lymphatic system and broken down with the aid of the drainage

handpiece.

The adipose tissue is lifted up until it sticks to the two ultrasonic modules, that, thanks to the particular inclination of the pads, act deeply, hitting the fat cells of the target area.

The frequency combination, together with the vacuum action of the handle and the power of the pads, allows a safe, comfortable and efficient treatment.

Modulation from 20 to 60 kHz has the effect of increasing the penetration depth of the ultrasonic beam and therefore induces a deeper cavitational action on the adipocytes.

Med Contour is equipped with a handpiece designed for the opening of the lymph nodes and for lymph-drainage massages: it provides a pleasant massage with a very good draining effect and reactivates the lymphatic circle.

The lymph-drainage massage helps the body eliminate the liquids and waste produced by the cavitation treatment through the lymph nodes.

This effect is of primary importance for the absorption of the fat mass, previously treated with the ultrasonic handle, allowing to accelerate the process of disposal of the residual fat. In this way, the liver activity, which otherwise would be overloaded, benefits a lot from this treatment.
