Council President, Paul A. Camuso, called the Fifteenth Regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS
14-373-Offered by Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council request the Mayor has DPW repair the large pothole in the parking lot at the Medford Public Library. 14-374-Offered by Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council please discuss the policies and parking problems at the City of Medford’s Municipal Park Lots throughout the city.

14-382-Offered by Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council request that the Agendas of all Boards and Commissions be sent to the Council members prior to their meetings. 14-383-Offered by Councillor Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that a letter be sent from the Medford City Council asking our State Delegation to support the Brownfield’s Redevelopment Funds in the current budget being deliberated in the House of Representatives. Amendment 915 would allocate up to $45 million from the fiscal 2014 year-end surplus to Brownfield projects. Amendment 121 would provide a $30 million appropriation in the fiscal 2015 state budget. This funding is critical to the successful redevelopment of former industrial sites and will enhance local economic development efforts across the state and improve the environment. 14-384-Offered by Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that the Mayor’s office explore the possibility of purchasing the Spring Step Building now that it is back on the market for sale. The proposed use will be for a home for the Arts Community, community meeting space, and the new location of TV 3 along with other varied uses which can be discussed. 14-386-Offered by Councillor Marks Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council commend and congratulate long time Medford resident Frances R Belmonte on the celebration of her 90th birthday on April 26th 2014.
