    Council President Robert A. Maiocco called the Ninth Regular Meeting of the Medford City Councilto order at 7:00 P.M., at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

    13-284- Offered by Councillor Lungo-KoehnBe It Resolved that the Medford City Council commend and congratulate the Medford High SchoolGirls Basketball team, the Medford High School Boys Basketball team and the Medford High

    School Girls Hockey team for advancing into the state tournament. The young men and womenworked extremely hard this year and deserve to be acknowledged for their hard work anddedication.

    13-285-Offered by Councillor Lungo-KoehnBe It Resolved that the Medford City Council commend and thank Penelope Bruce andBrookeJohns, for all of the hard work and effort they have and are putting into working on and creatingTEAM Medford, which is striving to protect our youth from Alcohol and other drugs. Penelope andBrooke have been working from 2 grants that the City obtained through the Health Department and

    Medford Health Matter since 2008. They have also been diligently working to obtaining additionalgrants such as the Massachusetts Opioid Abuse Prevention Grant.Be it further resolved that they be invited to an upcoming City Council meeting to introducethemselves and explain to us the work they have been doing and how we could help.
