DR ANUJ SINGH

A qualified dentist, DR ANUJ SINGH started his entrepreneurial journey in the year 2010. After finishing dentistry, instead of following the traditional path he followed his heart and started his first venture. Today, he is the founder partner of two ventures, that includes an event management company, MELANGE EVENTS and a designer label dedicated to Khadi, IN SYNC - basant anuj.

BASANT RAI is a fashion designer by profession and started his career working as a fashion choreographer in 1995, soon after his schooling. Ever since he has worked as a fashion columnist, show director, fashion stylist and pageant coach. In 2005 he used Khadi fabric for one of his collection and ever since he has been working exclusively on Khadi. Today he and Dr. Anuj Singh are the founder partners of two successful ventures.

DR. ANUJ SINGH and BASANT RAI are the first generation entrepreneur based out of Lucknow, India.

KHADI FASHION TOUR A National Event covering 7 cities, KHADI FASHION TOUR witnesses some of the top of the line models showcasing KHADI COLLECTION by, national and international designers. This is to create the Khadi awareness amongst the masses.

MR & MISS COSMIC WORLD An International Event where beauty ambassadors from 50 countries will compete for the title MR & MISS COSMIC WORLD. The winners will work extensively to raise the funds for social cause.

IN SYNC - basant anuj, is one of India’s most successful and respected design resources for KHADI textile and fashion.

This design label was initially established by designer Basant Rai who was later joined by Dr. Anuj Sing. Each IN SYNC – basant anuj collection continues the exploration of developing a quiet and modern design voice while simultaneously drawing on the rich traditional vocabulary of Indian design & craft.

The design sensibility is low key yet highly distinctive, with strong respect for material, form and craft. An important aspect of the different collections presented each season is the very modern synergy between fashion, lifestyle and environment with a unifying vision for the way the contemporary urban consumer dresses and lives.
