Our names are Mrs. Blackley & Ms. Caudill. We are so excited to be your 1st
grade teachers! It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. You are part of a special group of students that has TWO teachers! Mrs. Blackley is your homeroom teacher and Ms. Caudill will be supporting language development and literacy alongside her. Let’s make this an incredible year!
In this classroom:You are cared about. We value your ideas, thoughts, and actions. You have unique talents and strengths and we can’t wait for you to share them with your classmates. You will bring so much to our class and we can’t wait to learn more about you!

After much research this summer, I am trying something new. Homework will only consist of work your student did not finish during the school day. There will be no formally assigned homework this year. However, it is still an expectation that students read 20 minutes per
night. There will be incentives via the RAZ Kids program (more info to come).

Nuestros nombres son la Sra. Blackley y la Srta. Caudill. ¡Estamos muy
entusiasmadas de ser sus maestras del 1er grado! Va a ser un gran año lleno de
nuevas amistades, nuevas aventuras y nuevos descubrimientos. ¡Usted es parte
de un grupo especial de estudiantes que tiene DOS maestras! La Sra. Blackley
será su maestra del aula y la Srta. Caudill va a ayudar con el desarrollo del
